    Default Potterton PrimaF Bolier

My potterton prima f bolier is playing up, it only seems to be lighting with a very small flame, the flame looks like a lighter flame. The full light doesn't come up and the bolier is making clicking sounds. I have read it could be the circuit board or the gas valves... i am a single parent and i need a rough idea of how much this may cost, as i tend to be ripped off because i am on my own, thanks x

    Hi.
I'm really not experienced with plumbing or central heating (having problems with my own at the moment), but a quick search online gives a price of about £130 or so for the PCB (circuit board) if that's the problem. Not sure what the cost of labour would be on top of that. My mum had to have her PCB replaced recently and that set her back around £200-250 or so, I think.

Not sure how much that helps you. Not a great deal I imagine. I'm sure someone else can give a much better idea.
