worcester 28i combi

My combi boiler pressure keeps rising on its own accord the water inlet valve is shut so i know it is not this. Anybody got any ideas

is the pressure rising only when the central heating is on?

if so the pressure vessel has either gone or needs pumping up,

just make shure the inlet valve really is shut off sometimes they will pass,

if the valve is shut and the pressure is rising when the heating is off then
you could have a heat exchanger problem.
