    Hi
    New to all this.
Just bought a Pronto Pro Ng RU990. What x 10 module would i need to control a socket using RF from the remote??

    Cheers

You will need a TM13 module this translates the X10 RF signal to X10 mains signals. This unit also contains a built in appliance module. If you want to control more then just add the X10 modules of your choice.
You will probably need the X10 ccf file for the pronto. Remote Central is a good place to start, or you could buy an X10 CCF file from simply automate.

Don't know if the the 990 is X10 RF compatible. If its not you will need an IR7243 infrared X10 controller. The new version of this can also handle X10 RF codes as well. IF you go for this unit then you will need some kind of X10 module. Either an appliance module, this gives you On or Off control. Or a lighting module which gives you dimming functions.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
