Fitting a mechanical timer to Worcester 24CDi boiler

Not being mechanically minded whatsoever, is it easy to fit a mechanical timer to a Worcester 24CDi boiler? I've pulled the panel off and there doesn't seem too much to it but don't want to blow up the boiler. Many thanks.

i'm pretty sure the wires are numbered and so is the clock.
