SKY+ & SKY HD LOFT BOX

I want to distribute the two boxes around the house using a loft box.

I have four cables for the LNB going to the boxes. The idea i had was to distribute the RF1 signals from both boxes to the Loft Box then on to all rooms.

    Is this possible?

How would I connect both signals to the loft box?

Can I use the CCTV connection as I will not be using it anyway?

    Help me Please???????

    Cheers

iirc Sky+ and Sky HD run different IR codes so combining them on a single coax return feed should be fine.

Have a look at www.tvlink.co.uk and you need a sky+ combiner.

Just need to check that the Sky HD and Sky+ boxes work on different IR code sets.

      Hi

I know this is a pretty old post but it is the most relevant I could find. I was looking to setup a loftbox with my two sky+ boxes a few months back and purchased some equipment to install. Then I impulse bought Sky HD before christmas and would like some advice as to whether my setup would still work.

This link shows an image of my proposed setup with the sky+ in the master bedroom and sky hd in the main room connected via hdmi to the tv.

Would this setup affect the quality of my HD picture in our main room?

      Thanks
      Stephen
