    No Heating, but hot water is fine

    My heating isn't coming on, the boiler won't even fire for the heating although it's firing perfectly for the water.

    From what little I know about central heating, it seems to me that the room thermostat isn't working correctly and isn't turning the heating on.

    Does that sound right, if not where else should I be looking?

      It's a Baxi

      Is there any way of bypassing the thermostat to make sure it is that before I replace it (I'm assuming I can replace it fairly easily)?

        if you take the stat of the wall there should only be 2 wires,

        link them together
