Finger Print door entry advice
Hi,
I have a magnetic lock and now looking for a finger print door entry system to link to it.
This is a lock just for when we are about and need quick access, the door will be locked fully when we go out.
I'm looking for something like the new comfort biometric reader but can activate the magnet any ideas?
thanks

Re: Finger Print door entry advise
Try ebay. I bought a fingerprint lock for 75 pounds. Works really well. The unit retails at about 250 pounds.

Hi,
I dont want a whole door handle and lock I just want the door entry system to be biometric.
I'm after a controller as such.

the idea is to use it as a basic door lock.
Ie once you have unlocked the door and its multi deadlocks when you shut it the magnet and door entry takes over.
This way when we are in the kids can go in and out as they please without keys but we know the door is not open to anyone.
Its just that when people are in they never lock the door behind them. (Its one of these new build houses with the stupid door handles that can be opened from both sides unless you lock yourself in)
This way when we are in the door is still locked unless you use the door entry system.
When we all go out we will re-lock the multi deadlocks for the added security.
(I know its not high security as yes I have seen the video where the biometric was fooled, but then if someone wants to get in that much they will)
