Stat. not working?
I've got a Potterton PRT100 stat in my lounge for the central heating and it never gets up to temp.
I know the house hasn't the best insulation but if that was the problem then the radiators would be on all the time and they're not, they turn off when the temperature gets to about 15 C (I know because I've resorted to keeping a thermometer next to the stat!).
There's no air in the radiators and when they're on they heat the same from the bottom to the top so they're not all gunged up.
Does this sound like a problem with the stat itself? If so does anyone have any ideas for a good replacement?
Please help...I'm freezing here!

Yep, turned it up, turned it down. I even tried turning the heating off for a while then turning it back on to trick it into realising how low the temp. was but no good.
So you think it might be the stat. then?

Well there's no boiler model on the boiler itself but the timer controls say Potterton EP2002.

Yeah, boiler stat only goes up to 5 and I normally keep it on about 4.
Does anyone have any ideas about the best place to pick up a replacement stat like the one I've got? I've looked online but no luck so far.
