Does anyone know the signals used on the Pilot wire heater control system. I know they are 240 volt low current but would like to know how they are implemented.
I have found that the Electric heater control signal can be 4 or 6 different flavours.
No signal is on, half wave negative is frost setting, half wave positive is off, full wave is eco setting (3 or 4 degrees lower).
The other two I can't find a good explanation any body know how they work?
I'm trying to implement a computer controlled system for my electric heating system and using the pilot wire saves using power relays.
