    SC9000 message problem

I was having some problems with Homeseer recognising the B1 and B2 devices so I reset the SC900 console according to the manual.
I re-registered the sensors and generally setup the console again.
However I can't record the outgoing message. When I press playback, all I get is silence. I also tested it by triggering the alarm. The SC9000 dials up the phone number OK but there is no message.
    Anybody else have this problem?

Go to Item 4 on the Install menu. LCD displays Message.
Press OK and then 1 to record your message.
The display will read "Please Wait". It will then change to "Speak Now". Also you need to be no more than 20cm away from the microphone.
Press 2 to replay the message.
    Now the important bit.
Press CLEAR to quit the menu. To confirm this choice, press 1 for Yes or 2 for No. If you choose Yes, you will quit the menu. If you choose No, you go back to the main menu.
    Hope this helps.

Sorry for the delay in getting back. I was on hols.
No joy, unfortunately. It doesn't replay. Even tapping on the case during record doesn't playback.
I reckon its just gone faulty.

An update to my SC9000 problem.

        I reset the memory.
        Plugged out the unit.
        Removed the batteries.
        Started it up
Registered the sensors/remotes again and the voice recorder now works. Can life get more exciting?

          Oh Yes.
Now you can have your lights coming on at certain times, to give you that lived in look.

I've done that. The SC9000 doesn't want to talk to Homeseer anymore so this is any easy fix to have lights turning on/off when alarm/away is turned on.

When you say SC9000 doesn't want to talk to Homeseer anymore. Is it that HS is not picking up the House and unit codes that get sent when you arm etc.
What does the HS log say.
What interface are you using with HS. If its a CM11 or CM12, unplug it and take out the batteries. If you are not using the clock in the CM leave the batteries out. Plug the unit back etc and try again. Its abit of a long shot, but you never know.

The signals aren't being picked up in the log. I set the log to record CM12u communications but there weren't any. I cleared its memory but still no joy. I'm away for a week but I'll try taking the batteries out when I get back. Thanks for your help.
