    Hi all,
    Very new to this forum, so please forgive me if I have not found it yet, Has / does anybody built there own controls and systems, interfaces, PCB's and software. There is a small amount of retail systems avaliable at modest fee's. But any home brews.

    Curtain / Blind openers.
    Ligthing Control systems. (Dimmers)
    Energy monitors.
    Linux based monitoring servers.
    CCTV
    PBX
    HVAC
    Access controls.
    Mood lighting.
    Wall colour changers.
    Weather Systems
    Security.

    Homebrews quite often involve a combination off the shelf automation stuff and custom built widgets connected to them. There are quite a few sites out there try googling for home automation projects.
