    TR2 Worchester Greenstar HE Boiler

    Dear All,

I have a Greenstar HE and TR2 controller. I have connected a Myson Hi-line heater to the system and want to allow this to switch the boiler on/off independently.

Having looked at the tech manuals this boiler does not allow the above. I've asked Worchester tech help and they say its not possible! It must be, just needs some thought!

Has anyone got around the TR2 / Greenstar HE control problem when wanting to trigger the boiler separately?

Does anyone have tech details of the inner working of the TR2 ? This would enable me to consider a solution.

    Regards,
    Ticking_Pipes
P.S. I decided on this as a username as they are my next but one project!

it's a guess but turn the tr2 onto constant and wire the myson into the room stat terminals on the boiler.

What is the particular HE model? Most of the installation detail in online, so it would be easy to check if you can confirm the model number.

        Dear Sunbeam and NeilUK,

Many thanks for the replies, I'll have a look at the manuals again.

Neil - re actual model - I'll check and post again.

        Regards,
        TP.
