    SC9000 sensor problem

    Hi there guys,
Just a quick question about the SC9000 security panel. I bought a secondhand one of these the other day and also got some of the MS10A motion sensors. However I can't seem to register the sensors with the system. I have tried all the things I can think of including clearing all zones and sensors.
I set the SC9000 to install zone
Press the test button on MS10A
but hear no beep or confirmation from the SC9000.
I have reset the code on the MS10A a few times but it never seems to make a difference.

    Any help appreciated.

The SC9000 is a European x10 based security panel and the MS10A is a US spec motion detector. So they operate on completely different frequencies.
Europe normally uses 433.92MHz or 868 MHz and the US uses 315 MHz .
    The Sc9000 uses 433.92MHz and your MS10A uses 315MHz

      Darn it!
Guess I'll have to ebay the MS10A's and get hold of some UK ones. Whats the part no. for the UK ones?

        They are MS90 or MS18E.
        How many do you need.

Check these out for X10 and X10 Security.
