For Sale: X10 bits including micromodules

For Sale: Two complete X10 micromodule based kits for automatic lighting, plus some other X10 parts including micromodules.
All prices include P&P to the UK. I can ship elsewhere, email me to get the price. We can obviously combine things to lower the postage.

Pictures of everything available, just ask.

Due to an imminent house move, I am selling the X10 based kits I put together to provide automatic activation of lights in my hall and landing.
I wanted to be able to walk through the halls or up or down stairs, without having to flick switches every time. (Our stairwell has no
natural light) The system works very well, you just go where you want to go and the lights turn on and off as required. It also looks quite good
as the lights are soft start and stop.

The systems use mains powered ceiling PIRs, connected to a PowerFlash x10 unit via a relay for volt free switching. When the PIRs detect
movement they switch the relay and in turn the Powerflash puts the lights on and off commands on to the house wiring. This controls
micromodule dimmers in the light switches. The system will work with two way switching that is usually fitted in halls and retains the
existing switches for manual override if necessary. (The switches are changed to momentary types with MK grid switches and face plates)
The time duration of the lights and the light level before the lights turn on can be set using controls on the PIR. This stops the lights
switching on automatically in bright daylight.
For reliability I deliberately didn't use wireless x10 and chose mains PIRs so battery life wouldn't be an issue. This system gives immunity
to wireless interference and no need for a CM12 house controller to control the lights. However, I do have a CM12 in the house that
automatically dim the lights in the evening, so we don't get blinded on toilet trips at night. (The lights in our house are halogens.) However,
this bit isn't necessary. It can all be fitted without having to channel the walls or run lots of cable. I have only had to fill the
small screw holes that mounted the PIR when I removed the kit.

The complete list of bits is below. I'll consider splitting the kits if requested. I'm also offering some bits which won't be available until October when
we move out, but I'll advertise them now in case anyone is interested and wants to reserve them.

All the bits are used, but are in as new condition and all the x10 parts come boxed.

Light Activation kit (2 available), will fit either a hall or landing with one or two way switching.
