    RDP and Auto-Login

I have a rackmounted PC in the loft which I connect to via RDP, the machine also reboots on a power failure. If there is no password assigned to the user account on the Cortex machine RDP will not allow a connection. If I set a password then Windows will not auto-login on restart. How do RDP users get around this?

There is a registry key that you can set or possibly better to use the local security policy to allow auto-login.

Thanks, used TweakUI which presumably alters the registry key like you suggested. Working now.

going off at a slight tangent - I see there are a number of RDP & VNC apps for the iPhone available now (in the Business section of the App Store, via iTunes), with both Windows & Mac catered-for, often both ... not tried any yet (may do soon, it's difficult to choose which to go-for) - all of them seem to be getting good reviews !
