Hi there,

Can anyone tell me how to program the control unit easily please.
I've got the user guide, but still can't make it come on in morning and come on in evening

Well I don't think I can explain any better than the manual, but here goes.

Say we want to program the following.

On at 7am at 21c
Off at 8am
On at 5pm at 21c
Off at 10pm
For example reasons, this will be the same every day.

Move the slider to PROG
It will default to day1 & PROG1 (There are 6 programs, located under the display)

Using the time change buttons, change the time to 07:00. Now using the temperature buttons, change to 21.0

Now press on the program 2 button. This is the row of 6 buttons under the display.. this will program the next job for the controller to do.

Move the time controls to 08:00 and the temperature to 5c (effectively off) as that's the lowest it can be set (This stops the pipes from freezing).

Now press the program 3 button and set the time to 17:00 and the temperature to 21c.

Now press the program 4 button and set the time to 22:00 and the temperature to 5c.

Right, that's your day programmed. Now press the Copy Day button, which will copy this program to the next day slot. Press it 7 times to copy to all the days. Move the slider to auto and bobs your uncle.

Other things to consider. You can obviously have different programs for different days. My schedule is below.

MON-FRI 07:00 - 08:00 21c, 08:00 - 16:00 18c, 16:00 - 21:00 20c, 21:00 - 07:00 16c
SAT-SUN 08:00 - 10:00 21c, 10:00 - 17:00 18c, 17:00 - 21:00 20c, 21:00 - 08:00 16c

Program the controller to fit round your families routine. Remember also that by default the unit will be set to smart start. So if you set it to 07:00 21c then it will be AT 21c AT 07:00. This will mean it will start heating the house at about 06:30 (depending on how good your CH is) so that the house is actually AT 21c at 07:00.

It's a fantastic unit and well worth playing about with it. I hope this helps.
