    Cool. I've been looking for a reliable rain sensor (as opposed to rain gauge) for ages. I was even starting to think of ways to do it.

    I keep leaving the washing out in the rain - so I think I might be able to justify this on the basis of tumble drying eliminated because clothes don't get rained on.
