    Access violation - Help required!

Yesterday I made a number of changes to the database and saved them, all was fine. Today I did a Cortex update (24.3.5 -> 24.3.7) and now I'm getting:

Access violation at address 008CC91D in module 'Cortex.exe'. Read of address 000004C0

...when Cortex starts up. If I just close the error box, Cortex freezes with a load of A's displayed at the bottom of the communication screen.

I did have this problem once before which I thought was due to sound drivers but they are all correct and running this time.

    I've tried:

    o Running CortexPrevious
o Running CortexPrevioous and then doing an update again
o Renaming an old database so it uses it
o Renaming database so it doesn't exist (to create new one)

But the error just keeps coming up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I haven't got Reflex implemented correctly at the moment!

    Thanks,
    Nick.

    Sorry, now fixed :-)

I'd recently upgraded the PC I'm remoting from and forgot I needed to change Remote Desktop Connection settings to leave sound at the remote computer when restarting Cortex remotely.
