OK, so you could argue that you could tune either system either way, but if a P4 3.4GHz can cope with hi-def then I guess the M could. Sticking in a blinding video card would probably help some, but that's not my personal intention as hi-def for me today is not a concern.

Obviously this bulk buy didn't happen.

Hi there;
I have managed to build one from a basic pc set up, had a few problems with the TV cards though. Installed a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 150MCE and worked fine and plenty of connections to add video player, etc too. No freeview with this card though. Installed Xpert DTV DVB-T to get Freeview, had problems due to an error "Cannot render MPEG2 Demux filter".
Still stuggling to pick up a card after looking at views that will install with the lease amount of issues.
Using a graphics card with both DVI and basic monitor output.
All together, I would recommend the MCE, great for music, films, ebay viewing, pictures, etc. just a shame about the TV card.
Keyboard/remote and the user friendly of the software and displaying on a good size screen using DVI connection, top marks. (admin@jasmaweb.co.uk)
