May make an interesting purchase or project. Comes with a remote control for the robot and pan and tilt functions for the camera via wifi. I guess you could hack the remote and let you home automation system control the robot.

Can't see the point of using it to check round the house whilst you're away, you're hardly going to sneak up on anyone with a vacuum cleaner making a racket underneath your camera.
