    640 x 480 = 307200 @ £350+VAT

    2048 x 1536 = 3145728 @ Euro798 net

    3145728 / 307200 = 10.24

    hmm, how does that work-out ... ???

Definitely doesn't work out with pound per pixel, but does offer less capital outlay.

I have a suspicion (not that I've seen the full spec sheet) the Idratek AUI-001 would probably end up being the best choice if it were available...

OTOH, if it doesn't do the job ...

ie: spending too-little could be money wasted ...

yep, hopefully the AUI will be available v.soon ...

Just a little bit of self promotion - I did this some time ago...

Right - more (very sporadic) updates.... This bit of the HA install was actually completed in September so it shows how on the ball I'm not....

Only 1 way audio, but it's interfaced with my TV via a matrix for video, and Cortex does the IR control, so when the doorbell rings, I get a nice PIP of whoever's there.

Thanks for that John, that is intriguing / I like the premise. I don't suppose you could elaborate on the "The audio output for cortex is a bit of a non standard setup.." from your blog page, as I'm curious how you do the audio?
