    Dead remote

Anyone had any problems with their remotes dropping dead. The light still flashes but no signal being received! Changed the batteries but still no luck.

I'm going to have to buy a new one!

Are you on the A house code? I use a different house code and i've had some stick-a-switches seem to lose the memory that they are programmed to anything but A1, reprogramming seemed to work.

Although it depends on what remote you are using I suppose, the palmpads i've never had a problem with...

I assume you're talking about the RF remotes?

Are you sure that it's the remote that's locking up, rather than the Transceiver (ie - do other remotes work, and only one fails, or do ALL remotes fail)?

I've seen TMs lock up from time to time. Sometimes pressing the manual button on the top unlocks them.

The TM13´s do lock up but I haven't seen one with a manual button, are you talking about the X10-2 versions.
The normal TM13 just needs to be unplugged for a few seconds and then plugged back.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
