Hi, I hope that some one might be able to provide some advise on our Potterton Promax HE boiler? The system (CH & HW) is controlled by a timeswitch (you can set 3 programs per day) plus there is a single thermastat in the hall. All the radiators have their own thermostats. The thermostat in the hall way is always set/turned down around 15. Hot Water and Heating switches “on” as per the timer, all good, however once it switches "off" the boiler keeps firing up for a few seconds and then switches off after a few seconds and then on and then off..... etc. Why does this happen? The cylinder also makes a lot of noise; basically you just hear the water sloshing about! Not sure if either of these 2 things are “normal”.
