    Home Vision Expansion

Having now moved house from my originally self automated home thanks to this site back in 1997, I return to find out if Home Vision is still the way/a way forward.

It seems that the Multifunction Expansion Boards and the Sylva I/O boards are no longer available or supported - please can someone confirm this is the case?

Idratek looks interesting but can it be as flexible and programmable as old faithful HV?

You may want to post this question on the Homevision message board.
Or if you want I can post it for you, if you don't have a yahoo login.
I still use my Homevision, its now been going for about 5 years or so, without any problems.
Its still going strong, and the message board is very active.
Idratek is a very capable system and definitely worth a look. And you may be able to hook up your HV box to the Idratek system.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

Just an update - I have since found that Home Vision is in fact still supported, it is just the third party Sylva I/O Boards which have been discontinued. Other expansion items and intergration is still available
