    Dimmers - low voltage lights

maybe not the best place to ask the question, but I bet that someone will know the answer !

I am planning to buy a low voltage ceiling light that comes with a build in transformer - sample :

In the Q&A it states that this light (and all other transformer low voltage lights as far as I can tell) are not dimable.

My question: Is there a way to make these dimable, espacially via x10 dimmer switches?

You can dim low voltage lights. But some transformers don't like it.
I've dimmed low voltage halogen bulbs via an x10 module.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

Hi Toscal, thanks for the reply

When you say 'don't like' - do you mean not work at all, fire hazzard, or just a loud humm from the transformer (which I can imaging isn't good either)?
