macro freezes on "Trigger object" command

I am running cortex 25.0.15 under Windows XP. Each time I try to run a macro containing a "Trigger object" command (ex. to switch a light on), the macro 'freezes' on this command (precisely - after this command) and doesn't continue processing.
I didn't see this behaviour on my previous Cortex install.
Has anyone seen something similar?

Visit Tools | Logging | Diagnostic | Macro and tick the box.

Let us know what it says in Communications Window regarding your Macro.
The Macro waits for things like speech and sounds to complete before they can proceed onto the next command. It may be waiting for these?

A test here shows Macro's OK.

You were probably right. The problem was solved after I have rebooted my PC and might have been related to sound or SAPI.
