    ICOM-Technology - any news?

The press release on the ICOM-Technology seems to be somewhat outdated - do anyone on this forum have any news on product releases and availability throughout Europe?

In my opinion, the ICOM-stuff looks much nicer than almost any system that I have seen so far....

To people who have asked them directly they replied that their product would hit the market in march 2005.

The rumour is that they are waiting for the new zen-sys WT200 chip, which is also announced for march 2005, in which case icom is probably not going to make march...

    Regards,

That is very good pricing. Pity they don't have the UK style ones.

                Nice, but it's not icom-technology...

Also, an english version of the homepage would be of help (even though Dutch and Swedish are close)...

September - that's not far away Now we only need to know where you can find ICOM products (preferably a webstore).

Are there any rumors around about a serial or USB interface with an API that can be accessed from a C program or Perl (like Misterhouse for instance) ???

                        Regards,

I do not know anything about an api, but you are probably referring to the Z-wave controller, available in both USB and Serial. See http://www.automatedoutlet.com/home.php?cat=6 and look for "Z-wave interface".

BTW: which site is "guest" to referring in the previous post??? :?:

AFAIK the applications that can use the Z-wave controller are currently Homeseer, HAL and Casaworks. To be able to use it from an other program you would have to get the Developers Kit, which I have not found in any webshop yet.
