Problem IR Device Controller

I bought a while ago an IR Device X10 Controller in order to control my Haier AC.
It was working very well. A few days ago I changed my AC to a different brand named Daykin and I reprogram the IR Device Controller but the ac refuses to start. Does anyone know if there is a problem with this brand?
