Hi Folks,
After a while, I've finally got my bathroom 'finished' and the door on to play with the mag contact I've installed.
I dry fitted this before I started the decoration stage and could've sworn I'd got it working, but now I can't seem to get Cortex to realise that the door is closed!?
I only want it to be used to infer presence more accurately so the bathroom lights can delay switching off when I'm stood in the shower - nothing fancy.
I've got a Mag contact connected to a digital input on my Lighting Dimmer, and using a multimeter I know that opening and closing the door does indeed open/close the contact - so I know there's no wiring issues on that front.
I've setup the connection as I believe it should be - but the door Icon in Plan-view just doesn't alter it's image / state (I'm assuming it should appear as a "closed door" image when the door is closed!?) when I open & close the door.
Can anyone offer any guidance on what I might be doing wrong?!
