    CurrentCost and virtual pulse meter

It's a snowy afternoon, so after taking the kids out and acting as targert pratice for a while I've tried to connect my newly purchased currentCost with Idratek. I've written a noddy bit of VB to take the usb input from the CC and spit out some XaP messages containing the current power consumption in watts (it would have probably been more useful to plug it straight into the API...)

I've got the XaP message connected to the alternative power (rate) source and configured the meter to use watts. The current rate display on virtual meter reads correctly, but the periodic graph looks far too high. I guess this is something to do with the rate the messages come in (about once every 10s, but by no means reliably!)

How does the periodic bit work, do I need to do some fooling the in the currentCost->XaP translation to make the message come out regularly?

    Peter.
