we're part installed, and yet to fully move-in - so PIRs are not yet working as they will ...
ie: it's still a bit cool in the house, so PIRs are more sensitive & have greater range than they will, once we're settled-in ...
plus, without furniture etc, PIR lines of sight go beyond what they will ...
so presence evaluation, currently, leaves something to be desired ...
but we have hopes it will resolve itself, once we've moved in ...
only, of course, it won't, fully - ie: some tuning will still be required ...
but, how to do this ... ?
we've a glass partition installed, and a couple of glass doors are to follow, and it's already clear that the PIR sensors can't see through glass, even-though we can ...
ie: could glass, in some way, provide a way to control sensitivity & angles of view ... ??
anyone any view on this, anyone tried something, along these lines, or otherwise ... ???
by any chance ...
