Default Direction detector triggering on network start

I have a couple of pressure pads on consecutive stair treads linked to a direction detector. The set up works well except when starting the network. On network start the dectector always registers "in" even though looking at the log for the pads they don't show any activity.

I wonder if it's related to the fact the pads seem to register 1 when not stepped on and 0 when stepped on (which means I have the "invert input" boxes checked in the direction detector). Is there a way to inhibit the direction detector during start up or is there a better way?

    Thanks,

    Peter

I've done a bit of tinkering and it seems as if I don't need to have the inputs inverted as it works as well without. This also seems to have the effect of not making the direction dectector signal "in" when the network starts. A slight mystery to me, but I'm happy with the result!
