O2M8 Ltd at Smart Home Show

    Hello everybody,

I just wanted to inform everybody that O2M8 Ltd is at the Smart Home Show at the NEC from Thursday April 14th until Sunday April 18th. We are demonstrating various applications with our WebBrick, showing that the use of standards-based technologies and open source software can offer compelling and cost effective 'smart home' solutions for jump-starting the mid-range home automation market.

On the stand we will be showing three WebBricks all working off the same network controlling a range of functions including door access, heating, fans, temperature sensors, fire alarms, intruder monitors, IP cameras, garden and indoor lighting, etc. We also demonstrate the integration of the WebBrick with the open-source Asterisk VOIP exchange and telephones, utilising services from VOIP phones and lighting solutions enabled with 'glance technology'.

We hope to see you at the O2M8 stand No. 3114. It would be good to get your feedback and overall comments on the products and solutions we are showing. At the same time we can discuss some of the ideas we have for future products which may be of interest to you.

See you there. Best regards, John.
