    Default Touch switches

    Found this today when browsing.

It seems they sell the sensors separately.

Could they be easily connected up to an Idratek module?

    another option - we've used these :

blank faceplate version, sensitivity adjustable, connected to local digital-input via included volt-free relay-contacts - works well & affordable ...

I think not as they appear to be inline mains switches i.e use mains as a power source

The actual sensor circuit is 5V though.

Oh I see what you mean now. Interesting that it just seems to employ two wires, suggests that maybe the power to the sensor perhaps gets pulled low for a short burst upon touch? Would need to know more detail. Anyhow if you're into a little bit of electronics a low cost touch sensor could be built using this device or one of its variants: AT42QT1011.
