New to X10 - Need advice
Hi all I am totally new to X10 and trying to work out how to put a very simple light switch together using it. We are just about to change the side a door hangs that goes into my kitchen diner and the current light switch will be behind the door. What I want to do is use a motion detector to turn the lights on when dark when someone enters the room and switch off after 10 mins of no movement. So can someone explain what I need to get to achieve this? Do I just need the motion sensor and an x10 light switch replacement? or do I need more to achieve?
Thanks

Hi and Welcome!
You need a third element - an X10 wireless transceiver like this...

They receive the wireless motion notification from your PIR on the RF side and then send the X10 command to your light switch through the powerline.
