Mi Light wifi bridge

Hi Guys,

I've just started on my home automation journey with a starter kit of 2 bulbs, a remote & a wifi bridge.
The problem I have is that I cannot get the remote app to work outside of my home network?

Any ideas / guidance would be much appreciated, thanks.

If you are meaning 'remote access from the Internet' when you say 'access from outside of my network' then you will need to do the following

1) Open up Port Forwarding on your a Router/Hub to the IP of what you want to control
2) Ammend any firewall rules to allow access
3) Setup DDNS for your internet facing IP address and put this information in your app
