HCE80 for electric underfloor heating ?
Hi there,
I've inherited some electric underfloor heating in a bathroom. It has no thermostat wired under the floor with the heating pads and just has an external On/Off connected into the lighting switch in the bathroom.
I was wondering if I could use something like the HCE80 to give me more control of it ? ie. timed on/off or temperature control ?
Specifically looking at HCE80, as I will shortly be looking to install the new evohome controller to control the gas heating for the rest of the house.
Thanks,
Roy.

It certainly seems feasible - the docs at http://www.honeywelluk.com/products/HCE80/ suggest that the outputs are potential free, so you couldn't switch the heating pads directly you'd have to go via an appropriately rated relay.
