Controller for vertical blinds?
Hi,
I am just about to setup a Z Wave system and I am struggling to find a controller for vertical blinds that can open/close and twist.
Is their one or do I need to make my own?

How does the current motor / control system work?
Is there a separate control for the "twist" action, or is that at the end of the "close" phase?
The Fibaro Roller Shutter 2 module can be configured for venetian blind mode where it has raise/lower/open/close - at least it looks that way in the manual. I'm not sure how it would be connected though as it only seems to have connections for forward / reverse on the motor - hence my question on how the twist is implemented.

Hi Martyn,
They are two seperate cords, ones a twist [pull up/down pulley], the others left/right [up/down pulley]

So they're not motorized already then?
I would say that's your first obstacle then, as whatever Z-Wave option you go for will depend on the controller that you install and how that is operated.
