    micro modules

    Hi all

Please can anyone give me any advice on using micromodules to switch my lighting and whether or not to use say the marmitec lwm1 or the tmd4,
and whether or not i have to use a momentary type switch or if i cant use a standard wall type rocker switch.

    many thanks

I use two micromodules. Switches, not dimmers, and they do not need momentary switches. Simply use a normal on/off switch and this will work find. Don't know about dimmer though....

        Richard,

just another question for you as you are using normal rocker switches,

if you turn the rocker switch to the on positon for example, this will activate the relay in the awm2, if you then turn the rocker to the off postion this will deactivate the relay, what happens if the rocker switch is on and the relay active (eg appliance module ON) and it is turned off by by an x10 command, do you have to reset the rocker switch back to off.

        cheers

          Re: micro modules

Every time you use the switch, the AMW will switch, so:

          - lights off, switch off -> switch to on -> lights on
          - lights on, switch off -> switch to on -> lights off
          - lights off, switch on -> switch to off -> lights on
          - lights on, switch on -> switch to off -> lights off

          or better:
          - lights off, change switch position -> lights on
          - lights on, change swich position -> lights off

          regards,

          Richard
