    Untied/ unallocated logic gate input?

    Hi All,

What happens when one configures a logic gate with nothing configured to one of the source inputs?

Reason for this coming up, is I have a cascade of logic gates for the use of lighting a DFP panel button (to alert me if there's any of a variety of outside lights switched on).

However I've decomm'ed one of the lights (temporarily, possibly permanently), but don't want to redo all the Logic gates just yet.

    Thanks in advance,

    Marcus

I believe that the default is always that an unconnected input effectively sits at '0' (False).

Suggest create a spare Test On-Off Source and connect it to that input. Then you can set it to 1 or 0 as required to satisfy your logic for the time being.
