    Floor Border Help

I feel as though I should know this.

The border of the ground floor on my house plan has become a dotted line. Whereas the first floor remains solid. I don't think it's done it before?

    Why?

    Thanks Chris.

Usually this happens if one object is overlapping another (e.g some room or part of the other floor) and then you select the first object. So the dotted line indicates that it is hidden underneath. Let's say that your first floor is adjacent to the ground floor object in plan view and you accidentally move or resize the first floor so that part of it overlaps the ground floor then that part of the ground floor border will show dotted when you click on (select) the ground floor. To correct this you just need to move or resize to avoid the overlapping.

Tip: to prevent accidental moving or resizing you can make use of the Edit | Permissions feature to restrict changes without deliberate intent. Leave the password blank for soft lock - i.e to avoid having to enter a password everytime you do want access.
