TB - please provide more detail as it would help us all understand. When I had my Evohome installed 18 months ago, my Honeywell Connected Specialist told me that, due to a lack of space in his airing cupboard, he had no option but to locate his 2 BDRs and HW relay on the same wall next to each other. I have 4 TV/audio items, all wifi connected, within a foot of each other without any problems so why are Honeywell devices so sensitive to wifi interference?

I'm surprised the manufacturer is saying that one bit of its own kit can damage another if positioned too close. It doesn't inspire confidence in the company's RF design.

          Common Installation Issues
There are a small number of common issues that we are
seeing installers experience – these are not due to faulty
product and can easily be overcome once identified.
Wireless devices too close together. Honeywell’s
wireless technology is robust and designed to not
interfere with or be interfered by other wireless products,
          when installed as instructed.
The golden rules to follow are:
          1. Install any Wireless devices, especially the wireless
relay boxes, at least 30cm apart. If these are installed
too close together, it will reduce the sensitivity of the
signal leading to communications issues and may
cause firing of the boiler when there is no demand.
          2. Ensure that the wireless signal is not being blocked by
large metal objects or foil lined plaster board. Again
          this will weaken the signal.

I'm not sure whether this means that a garbled signal (ie through interference from devices too close together) can result in a BDR91 switching on with no demand, or that a temporary loss of comms from the interference results in the BDR91 dropping into fail-safe mode.

it means that it may not switch off when requested

I can understand that, it's the permanent damage bit that both worries and surprises me.

not a problem as long as installed according to the instructions Paul

Yes, I get that, but if a low powered RF device within 1m can kill it I'd hate to think how susceptible the design might be to other noisy (RF) environments, such as nearby 800MHz mobile phones, etc. Or even lightning strikes within a mile or so!

Permanent damage from other RF devices. Yes, I have made sure it doesn't happen to me (or my cat):
