    Evohome underfloor information

    Hi,

I am interested in installing the Evohome control system in my home but first I would like to understand how the underfloor heating control works. I have manifolds downstairs serving 6 zones and manifolds upstairs serving 3 zones upstairs. (I also have 2 radiators upstairs serving 2 rooms).

My main question is whether I will need to change my existing manifolds as the mainifolds I have are TA manifolds which are approx. 26 years old. How do the controls connect onto the mainifold?

Suggest the training materials under youlearn.honeywelluk.com are a good start.

Or contact one of the evohome specialists who are more than happy to have a chat.

This probably boils down to the question as to whether your actuators are compatible with the Evohome HCC80 output. My understanding is that this is a standard 230V signal and would be compatible with most 230V actuators. The device handles five underfloor zones and can be expanded to eight zones, I think.
