    Default chromed caps for HR92

    IMO the hr92 look a little ugly - but I notice that honeywell do a 'chromed cap' AFA90 for the hr92.

    anybody have any idea what this is ? I can't find any pics online. Is it just a replacement for the very top rotary dial ?

    Yes it is just a replacement top rotary dial that has a chrome centre insert instead of the white one.

    I enquired about this part with the Evohome Shop in November and received a reply that it would be added to their range in a week or so. I've just checked and I can't find it. Is there any progress on this?

    Where some people are having range problems, I wonder whether a chromed cap might exacerbate this?
