A new firmware will be released over the coming weeks for evohome Wi-Fi. V2.1. This will be pushed out sometime soon, but has already been applied to units out of manufacturing.
Is this "V2.1" release the same "Application Software Version: 01.00.02.01" that has recently been pushed out to some units already ?

    Hello,

Long time lurker but constant reader. Moved from Hometronic to Evohome when my control box failed.
Would love to move to the wireless solution.

Yes me too, this actually is an important point and even a reasonable % discount would be most welcome. Something maybe that could be carried through to the next model.

    Please consider this

I'd be interested, if only for the fact that the newer model is getting updates whereas the non-wifi one seems to be at a dead-end.

As per my earlier post to Santa. I would be interested in upgrading at the right price.
