    Hardware Rest Evotouch Controller?

    Quick question:

Is there a way to hard reset the Evotouch controller?

    Cheers

    Hi,
Only reset that I know of is to remove the Evotouch controller from the charging dock. Remove the two batteries for a few minutes. Replace the batteries and wait for the device to restart. Not aware of any button to hold in with a sharp object to reset the unit as on devices such as routers etc.

This only semi resets the controller as language, time and Wi-Fi settings remain unchanged.

That is true. I removed the batteries and left overnight. This morning I replaced the batteries and was invited to run the configuration/installation wizard.
Had to bind to the BRD boiler relay
Set the time - was showing the time I removed the batteries
Set the date - was showing the date when the batteries were removed.
Zone settings needed to be reset.
Controller backlight etc needed to be reset.

Most importantly - still no WiFi found even though I checked all the suggestions -
        Controller on charging dock
        Power connector fitted securely
        Moved next to wireless router.

WiFi software version still shows 00.00.00.00

        Think I've exhausted all ideas.

Thank you to all who've provided information and suggestions, really appreciate you taking the time.

        Regards

        John

That suggests to me that it's buggered!
