might be better if you introduce yourself before asking the community to do your market research?

To be honest home control, it just make's you'r home look flash, and the added bonus of being able to control most of you'r household gadgets off of one device.... well life gets pretty sweet. I am currently looking into getting my hole house upgraded so i am also looking for info just more detailed..

Pretending you are putting the system in to make your house more efficient and cheaper to run.

I can safely say that it saves electricity if programmed correctly. However, not as much money is saved compared to the money spent on hardware.
    Examples:
Lights turn off at night if no movement is detected for more than 30 minutes after 10pm
Heating turns down when 'Away' is triggered'

    It is also more convenient.
    Examples:
If you've got your hands full you don't have to hit the light switch. Landing light comes on when someone comes out of a bedroom at night.
All the lights can be turned off at once when you go to bed.
Can turn the heating up or down from anywhere. (Sitting on sofa or at the airport).

Of course the wife is not convinced with any of this but she's happy it keeps me out of the pub. lol
