Homeseer's web server uses server side processing (ASP/ASPX) so anything is possible if you are willing to learn the programming. If you look at my cameras at http://www.jon00.me.uk/hs.html, this uses RS232 control for the Pan/tilt Unit and Infra-red for the video switching. The video is analogue using Windows Media Encoder to provide the streaming. I have the standard Windows Media player embedded in a ASP for viewing.

I use Panasonic IP cameras, which you can control via a browser, or HS can control, using the free plug-in, which can use the camera to take stills triggered by HS events.

It looks as though any IP camera could be used.
