The Control Panel told me today I needed to change batteries in one HR92. Checking back for this particular HR92 the batteries need changing every three months. All others last a lot longer. This HR92 is in a spare bedroom and rarely operates as the the room does not drop to the set temperature. There is no problem with signal strength. Where the HR92s are working more frequently in other rooms the batteries last longer.

I have had original batteries last over two years, I now use Duracell Industrial as a bulk buy is very cheap. I couldn't see how the cost of Lithium batteries could be justified. FWiW, I usually change my batteries when I get a fault recorded. That said, I put three of the batteries into an old alarm clock about this time last year. The clock is still running with its constant glow at night. It would seem that the system errs on the cautious side when it calls for a battery change.
