It would be good to build this up .
So far I have:
- Downloaded the stable software from www.domoticz.com
- Installed that on an old PC running Windows 7 32-bit to run as a service
- Installed the HGI90 USB driver from the EvoHome page on the Domoticz Wiki
- Plugged the HGI80 into USB port
- Left it for a few hours to listen to messages between devices
- Been somewhat confused at number of found items, what they do, and why some have names but not others
- Added a few as temperature devices, and looked at the log.
Looks clever, but not sure what to do to make it all more coherent. May try and untangle it this w/e.

Are you looking at running it on Windows or Raspberry Pi ? ( Running it on Pi , without a HGI80 for now )
For Pi , I followed the instructions on https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Evohome and didn't have any issues.
The only problem with the Pi is getting the HGI80 drivers loaded.
I can't remember how I eventually did it, but I do remember it being a bit of a faff.
Did you find this page ?
https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Evohome
This is what I followed, and I use the Web API. Unfortunately the scripts required are just provided as text in the wiki page so you have to copy and paste them into files and make them executable then set up a cron job or similar to make sure the evo-update.sh script runs every 5 minutes. But someone with a little bit of Linux knowledge shouldn't have too much difficulty.
